Case

A treasure trove for contemporary design and unique gifts

The WeeGee Exhibition Centre, formerly the printing house of the Weilin+Göös publishing house, stands as a remarkable testament to Finnish modernist architecture. Designed by renowned architect Aarno Ruusuvuori, the concrete masterpiece was completed in two phases, in 1964 and 1967. Today, the protected building serves as the home to several museums, including EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art.

Our mission was to create a bold, adaptable and commercially viable shop for the museum, aiming to both honor the site’s unique architecture and transform a visit to the shop into a memorable experience. The shop combines the historic industrial character of the building with a curated selection of high-quality items, all while bringing EMMA’s new visual identity to the forefront.
